An unconfirmed number of persons were injured and vehicles damaged when suspected thugs attacked Nigerians protesting against police brutality and extortion in Abuja.
Our correspondent gathered that the thugs attacked the protesters at Berger junction a few minutes after the commencement of the protest.
It was learnt that the thugs were armed with cutlass and other weapons.
