English FA Releases Fixtures For Carabao Cup Quaterfinals

The English Football governing body has released quarterfinal fixtures for the Carabao Cup competition as the defending champions Manchester City  journey to Oxford to take on League One team Oxford United in December.

City qualified for the last eight by beating Southampton 3-1 on Tuesday, while Oxford United defeated League One side Sunderland on penalties the same day.

Premier League leaders Liverpool will visit Aston Villa after beating Arsenal in a penalty shootout on Wednesday at Anfield. But Liverpool coach  Jurgen Klopp have asked for a reschedule of the fixture as his team need to play in the Club World Cup on 18 December.

The quarterfinal ties are scheduled to take place the week commencing 16 December.
