Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has confirmed that Andreas Pereira and Scott McTominay will be Ander Herrera’s replacement at the club.

Premier newspaper  had reported that Herrera joined Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer early this month from Man United.

But Solskjaer said he does not need to buy a replacement for the Spaniard, adding that Pereira and McTominay are ready to step up to fill the void Herrera left at Man United squad.

“I expect a lot more from Pereira and McTominay. Those two between them had maybe 15, 20 starts last season, Solskjaer was quoted by Metro UK as saying ahead of Man United’s clash with Leeds on Wednesday afternoon.

“You expect them to have at least 20 each this year, maybe even more. That’s maybe two players into one that can replace Ander Herrera.”
