Presidential hopeful, Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, has announced Halima Aminu Turaki as his running mate for the 2027 presidential election, describing the decision as part of a broader vision to promote inclusion and rebuild Nigeria.

In a message addressed to Nigerians at home and in the diaspora, Fadojoe said women have for decades played vital roles in sustaining families, communities, and the nation, yet have not been given enough opportunities to shape the country’s political history.

According to him, the choice of Hajia Halima Aminu Turaki reflects the campaign’s commitment to giving women stronger representation in leadership and national decision-making.

“Women have been the backbone of our country, our families, our communities, and our journey to where we are today. It is time to give them a place and a seat at the table,” the statement read.

Fadojoe described Turaki as one of the most influential northern women in Nigeria and expressed confidence that her experience and leadership would strengthen the movement ahead of the 2027 elections.

The ticket was presented under the campaign theme of “Rescue, Restore and Rebuild Nigeria,” with supporters describing it as a call for national transformation and inclusive governance.

The campaign also urged Nigerians across the country and in the diaspora to support the movement, insisting that collective effort and visionary leadership can reposition the nation for growth and stability.
