Fake Cowbell Milk Floods Nigerian Markets, NAFDAC Warns

The Nigerian government has sounded the alarm over the spread of counterfeit Cowbell Our Milk across markets nationwide.

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) issued the warning in a statement released on Friday, confirming that the fake products are already circulating.

According to the agency, Promasidor Nigeria Limited, the authorised manufacturer of Cowbell products, verified the development. NAFDAC cautioned that the counterfeit version closely mimics the original 12g sachet of Our Milk but poses grave health risks to unsuspecting consumers.

“The use or consumption of counterfeit Cowbell ‘Our Milk’ presents serious health and safety risks,” the agency stressed.
