Family: Rico Swavey will be buried on Thursday.

The funeral plans for late Big Brother Naija contestant Rico Swavey have been made public by his family.

Rico, who was born Patrick Adebowale Fakoya, was involved in a car accident and put on life support as a result. On Thursday, October 13, 2022, two days after the incident, he passed away.

Plans for his funeral were announced on Tuesday via Twitter in a statement that was endorsed by his family and management team.

“With heavy hearts, we cordially invite Rico Swavey’s friends and supporters to his memorial celebration/candle light walk tomorrow while we observe a stellar supernova. Thank you all, it said in the caption.
Wednesday at Retro Citi in Victoria Island, Lagos, there will be a night of remembrance and a candlelight procession.
