AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will clinch victory in the 2026 Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Councils Election, pledging an aggressive and coordinated campaign across Abuja’s six council areas.

The Kwara State Governor made the commitment during the inauguration of the APC National Campaign Council for the FCT polls, where he spoke on behalf of fellow governors and party chieftains appointed to drive the electoral push.

Addressing party leaders, AbdulRazaq assured Bola Tinubu and the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress that the campaign council would deploy strategic engagement, grassroots mobilization, and stakeholder collaboration to secure overwhelming support in the nation’s capital.

He emphasized that the council would work closely with community influencers and political stakeholders to consolidate the party’s presence and convert goodwill into votes. According to him, the APC remains the “veritable vessel” for Nigeria’s progress and sustainable future, expressing confidence that residents of the Federal Capital Territory would align with the ruling party.

AbdulRazaq stressed that unity, teamwork, and disciplined coordination among governors and party leaders would be central to achieving victory. He noted that the FCT election presents a critical opportunity for the APC to reinforce its dominance and demonstrate its political strength in the country’s administrative headquarters.

The 2026 FCT Area Councils Election is expected to test party structures and grassroots influence in Abuja, with the APC positioning itself early for a decisive win.
