The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has announced a major development in its investigation into the recent violent attack on a Boys Brigade camp in Zhayidna Village, Orozo. The attack, which shocked residents and raised concerns over the safety of youth events in the area, led to the tragic death of a camper, Johnson John.

According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, the Command, acting on credible intelligence and digital tracking of the deceased’s mobile phone, has successfully arrested three suspects believed to be directly involved in the incident.

The arrests were made by a team of police operatives led by the Divisional Police Officer of Karshi, CSP Mbang Usang. The suspects identified as Stanley Ukweze, Dauda Yohana, and Gemu Adamu were apprehended in Wasa Village, located within the Karshi axis of the FCT. All three are residents of the area and were taken into custody without incident.

During the arrest, officers recovered three mobile phones from the suspects. Upon further investigation, two of the recovered phones were positively identified as belonging to the deceased camper, Johnson John. This critical piece of evidence further ties the suspects to the crime scene and strengthens the case against them.
