Roger Federer has reached the last 4 of the ATP Finals in London, after outclassing arch rival Novak Djokovic in straight sets at the O2 Arena.
The 38-year-old Swiss, broke once in the third game to take the opener 6-4. Federer built on that by breaking the Serb twice more to claim the second set 6-3, and advance from Group Bjorn Borg behind Dominic Thiem.

After notching up his 23rd win in 49 head-to-head encounters so far, Federer snapped a 5-match losing streak against Djokovic, and avenged his heartbreaking defeat in the Wimbledon final.

The result also ruined the Serb’s bid to end the year ranked number one, as the honor will go to Rafael Nadal, for the 5th time.
