The proposed secondary school final year examination (WAEC) scheduled for August 4 has been cancelled by the federal government.
The Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, disclosed this in Abuja on Wednesday after the week’s virtual Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
Adamu however, said there is no date for school resumption yet.
The minister further said he would prefer Nigerian students lose an academic year rather than exposing them to dangers.
