The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari, describing him as a principled leader who served the nation with integrity and unwavering dedication.
In a condolence message issued in Abuja on Monday, Mrs. Tinubu mourned the passing of the former Head of State, who died in London after a prolonged illness. She lauded his selfless service to the nation and unwavering belief in the potential of every Nigerian.
“It is with deep sadness that I received the news of the passing of Former President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR). Our nation has lost a great leader who dedicated his life to the service of our beloved country,” she stated.
She praised Buhari’s legacy as one defined by courage, justice, and a firm commitment to good governance, noting his profound impact on national integrity and unity.
