Tunji Wusu –

The closing of nightclubs in Gombe State, often called as “Gala houses,” has been mandated by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.

The state government secretary’s signature appears on a statement that contained the order. The authorities said that the closures are necessary as a result of a rise in “imm@ral & unholy acts” by young people.

Njodi continued by stating that several complaints about persistent criminal activity and security violations in these nightclubs have come from members of the general public.

The governor further ordered Operation Hattara, the NSCDC, and the Police to mobilize their men to guarantee strict compliance.

Jami’a Gidan Wanka at Mile 3 Yola Road; White House Theatre (Babban Gida) at New Mile 3 Yola Road; Gidan Lokaci; General Merchant at Mile 3 Reservoir Road; and Farin Gidan Entertainment II at Wuro Karal, Kalshingi Road were among the impacted nightclubs.
