Former President Muhammadu Buhari’s Remains Arrive in Katsina for Final Honors

• Vice President Kashim Shettima and other top dignitaries accompanied the body.
• President Tinubu and Governor Dikko Radda will receive the remains.
• Military personnel are honoring Buhari, a former general and head of state.

The body of former President Muhammadu Buhari arrived at the Katsina airport at approximately 2:07 p.m., shortly after President Bola Tinubu’s aircraft landed at the same location.

Vice President Kashim Shettima led the official delegation accompanying the remains, including Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, and members of Mr. Buhari’s family.

President Tinubu is expected to formally receive the remains, joined by Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda, former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and other dignitaries.

At the airport, military personnel are conducting final tributes in honor of Mr. Buhari’s legacy as a retired general and former military head of state.
