Four Catholics were killed in an attack on a religious procession in north Burkina Faso the day after gunmen killed a priest and five parishioners during mass, a bishop said Tuesday.

Individuals attacked the procession in Zimtenga on Monday, “claiming four victims,” Paul Ouedraogo, president of the Episcopal Conference of Burkina Faso and Niger, told an assembly of bishops in the capital Ouagadougou.
