FOUR PEOPLE ARE FEARED DEAD AFTER A UGM ATTACK ON THE HOME OF A CUPP SPOKESPERSON IN IMO.

On Saturday afternoon, January 14, unknown gunmen attacked Akokwa community in Ideato north LGA of Imo State, killing at least four people.

The deadly attack took place at the home of Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, National Spokesman of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP).

The unidentified gunmen were said to have stormed his home around 3:00 p.m. and opened fire on anything in sight.

According to reports, the bandits also set fire to several vehicles and kidnapped Ugochinyere’s uncle.

Ugochinyere announced the attack on his Twitter page in a sos.

Ugo Chinyere, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ideato Federal Constituency, was reportedly assassinated about a month ago after an attack on his convoy.
