The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Chief Bola Tinibu, the governor of Jigawa State, and other party candidates have received assurances from Jigawa State Governor Mohammed Badaru Abubakar that they will win the state’s electorate.
In a speech given in Gumel after delivering flags to the party’s 17 candidates for various elective offices, the governor made the revelation and added that the APC will win every election because there was no other political party in the state.
Alhaji Badaru assured the crowd that Tinubu will move swiftly to carry out the state’s crude oil exploration should he be elected the next president.
He said that Jigawa State, which was likewise endowed with an abundance of oil, will be explored during Tinubu’s presidency.
During Tinubu’s administration, “by the grace of God, Jigawa oil will likewise be exploited for the benefit of the country and the state,” he declared.
Therefore, he advised Jigawa State residents to vote for the APC at every level so that they might continue to enjoy the benefits of democracy.
APC is the only party in the state that good people in the state trust, according to Governor Badaru, who is also the chairman of the State APC Campaign Council for the 2023 general election.
He looked at how, between 2015 and the present, APC has carried out a number of projects and programs that have favorably impacted Jigawa people’s lives and enhanced their social and economic well-being.
“We fulfilled all of our campaign pledges, since there isn’t a community in the state that hasn’t benefited from one or more of our capital projects,” he stated, referring to the state administration led by the APC.
“We have a legacy in the state, and I pledge to the people of the state that if I am re-elected and the party candidates are elected at all levels, I am pledged that our candidates will carry on from where I leave off in all respects.”
