Mrs Folashade Arike-Ayoade, Secretary to the Government of Kogi, announced the dismissal in a statement made in Lokoja.
The sacking will take effect on Sunday, according to the administration.
“Gov. Bello has issued a directive for Ogah’s immediate dismissal as Special Adviser to the Governor on Stakeholder Relations.”
“Ogah’s appointment as special adviser to the governor will end on September 24.”
“Gov Bello wishes Ogah the best in his future endeavors,” the state government said.
Ogah’s dismissal was not explained.
He was told to “promptly hand over his identity card and any other government property or documents in his possession to the Permanent Secretary, Administration, in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the state.”
