Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa Dissolves Ondo State Executive Council, Retains Two Key Commissioners

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has ordered the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council.

This decision was disclosed on Wednesday in Akure through a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.

According to the statement, two commissioners were excluded from the dissolution due to the strategic importance of their roles. The retained officials are the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, and the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac.

The governor directed all affected cabinet members to transfer all government assets in their possession to their ministries’ accounting officers.

Expressing gratitude, Governor Aiyedatiwa commended the outgoing members for their dedication and contributions to the state’s progress during his tenure, wishing them success in their future pursuits.
