GUY IN ANAMBRA ARRESTED FOR STRANGLING HIS WIFE CARRYING THEIR UNBORN TO DEATH OVER A GATE.

For allegedly strangling his pregnant wife to death at Otolo Nnewi, Nnewi South LGA of the state, Mr. Ikechukwu Obiora has been detained by the Anambra State Police Command.

On Thursday, March 2, 2023, the suspect allegedly attacked and killed Mrs. Ebere Obiora because she took too long to unlock the gate for him.

Ikechukwu admitted to the crime and allegedly confessed to his in-laws, saying, “I came home the morning of March 2, 2023, and knocked on the gate, but my wife did not instantly open. I began yelling at her out of that rage.

I angry grabbed her by the neck and strangled her to death after slapping and dragging her from the gate to the house. I couldn’t believe what had happened since I never thought that her death would be caused by such activities.

Eventually, after confiding in a few people and asking them for advice on what to do, I gave up on the corpse and fled out of dread and perplexity.
