HOPE EMERGE, a non-profit charity or base in the united state of America and Nigeria helds her first fund raising and gala award dinner programme in Lagos.
According to the founder and president of Hope Emerge, Mrs. Vivianne Adelagun the foundation was founded in 2018 as a response to the palpable suffering and lack of access to basic health care among the less privilege people in undeserved communities within Nigeria.
She said there is almost no access to affordable and preventive health care, not only in Nigeria but in Africa as a whole.
She said these during the first annual fund raising in Lagos to raise money and support the HOPE EMERGE foundation.
Mrs Adelagun added that Hope Emerge aim to decrees the number of sudden death among the youths, infants, pregnant women and widows in undeserved communities by providing preventive health education for the undeserved because is a pressing need and due to health care becoming luxury that only the influential and wealthy can afford.
Our goal is to educate and enlighten as many people as possible on ways to prevent illness, and to assist them in their effort to gain access to quality health care when illness is inevitable she added.
She also said that some of the objectives of HOPE EMERGE is to provides first aid equipment, parental care, medications, EMT, and CPR training, clinical diagnostics instruments, health outreach and an urgent care facility in undeserved communities.
Mr Saheed Kekere Ekun, one of the recipient humanitarian award, he urge people to contribute to the development of humanity because whatever you have belong to God and also gives back to the society in any form while also promise to keep on supporting the Hope Emerge whenever he is called upon.
