Singer, Pablo Vicky D, has said that he respects popular singers, Wizkid and Davido, but does not feel threatened by them.

Many people may consider the statement as being cocky, but the singer told Saturday Beats that he was just being optimistic about his future because of his belief in his talent. The singer said he was sure that his name and songs would be popular for many years to come.

The entertainer, who recently released the video of his single ‘Gimme Dat’, told Saturday Beats that that music means everything to him.

“Music is my life and I would not trade it for anything. I have always been a music lover and I discovered that I could make my own music when I was16 years old. That was how it all started for me,” he said.

Fondly referred to as PVD, the singer noted that although he draws inspiration from the likes of Wizkid and Davido, artistes who he respects, he does not see them as a threat.

He said, “Well, I admire Wizkid and Davido. I’m inspired by their success story and the fact that they keep pushing the African sound to the world, I respect them both for that; however, I am not threatened by them.”

PVD is currently signed on as a recording artiste under HHG Records.
