I SPENT N60 MILLION ON THE 23-YEAR-OLD DECEASED BECAUSE I LOVED HER, SAYS CHINESE MAN IN COURT.

Frank Geng-Quangrong, a Chinese man on trial for the murder of his Nigerian lover, Ummukulsum Sani Buhari, 23, has claimed that he spent N60 million on the deceased during their two-year relationship.

Frank, who lives in Kano’s Railway Quarters, stated this during a hearing at Kano High Court on January 11, 2023. Mr Muhammad Dan’azumi, the defendant’s counsel, testified that he is a Muslim, an international trader, and a Marketer at BBY Textiles Kwari Market Kano.

“In June 2020, Ummukulsum obtained my phone number from a friend and called to tell me that she loves me and that, by the grace of God, she will marry me. We began dating in July 2020, and she immediately began asking for money. I gave her everything she desired because I adored her.

I transferred over N60 million to her GT Bank account, including N18 million to help her start a business, N4 million for a house, and N6 million for university education.
