Police have captured a 20-year-old suspect, Tosin Kolade for the supposed debasement and murder of a 17-year-old young lady inside the hall of a congregation at Olodo in Egbeda nearby government area of Oyo State.
The young lady was supposed to be en route to chapel for administration when the thought attacker deceptively looked for her help with his own Congregation that is nearby.
The suspect who was marched before the newsmen at the State Police Settle, Eleyele, Ibadan on Tuesday has admitted to the wrongdoing.
The suspect in a meeting with the newsmen said his mom is an individual from the sterilization division in the Congregation, subsequently his admittance to the key of the Congregation.
His confession booth explanation, “I left where I was learning a professional exchange on a pivotal day for the congregation under the misrepresentation that I was debilitated.
“I ventured out from home subsequent to getting the entry key and left for chapel, noticing that my mom is a laborer in the congregation and an individual from the sterilization office. “She tumbled down and hit her head on the floor. This offered me the chance to assault before she surrendered the phantom inside the congregation.”
Certifying his portrayal in their report, the Police Advertising Official, Adewale Osifeso expressed, “On Friday, 17/09/2022 at around 2030hrs, the Order through Agents connected to Iyana-Offa Divisional Police Central command were suggested about the unexpected vanishing of a (17) seventeen-year-old female who as per the report left for chapel at around 1600hrs and was at this point to get back.
