During his visit to the training facility, the IGP inspected key infrastructure, including the simulation ground and shooting range. He also participated in tactical demonstrations, stressing the importance of continuous, practical, and scenario-based training in preparing officers for modern security challenges across the country.

At the closing ceremony, Disu commended the Squadron Commanders for successfully completing the rigorous programme, describing it as key to strengthening command structures, improving coordination, and enhancing operational discipline within the Mobile Force.

He urged the officers to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to their respective formations, noting that effective leadership at the squadron level is critical to the success of police operations nationwide.

According to him, the Nigeria Police Force must remain disciplined, responsive, and capable of addressing evolving security threats across the country.

Reaffirming his leadership priorities, the IGP stated that capacity building and officer welfare remain central to his administration’s reform agenda. He assured that efforts would continue to improve training standards, enhance operational readiness, and strengthen welfare support for personnel.

He added that well-trained and motivated officers are essential for effective policing and national security, pledging sustained investment in human capacity development and operational logistics.
