In response to the kidnapping of 280 students and teachers from the joint Government Secondary and LEA Primary School in Kuriga, Chikun Local Government Area, Kaduna State, Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun has arrived to inspect the situation.
The State Governor, Uba Sani, the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Yusuf Liman, and other high-ranking government officials welcomed the head of the Police department upon his arrival at Government House in Kaduna.

After that, Egbetokun expressed his sympathies to the governor and the people of Kaduna State for the tragic event.

Remember that on Thursday, just after the assembly meeting, the bandits entered the LEA Primary School in Kuriga at around 8:30 a.m. and kidnapped the students and a few staff members.
