After a promising beginning to his music career, Nigerian Afro pop singer Daniel Benson, also known as Buju, has refuted claims that he is not under any pressure to remain relevant in the music business.
The singer has had a successful career and wants to maintain it, but it seems like his supporters and other critics are expecting more from the Para singer.
In fact, the singer has been in the center of controversy ever since he took home the Next Rated Award at the Headies Awards 2022, with some of his coworkers questioning the decision-makers’ justification.
As the pressure mounts on Buju to up his game and justify why he is currently Nigeria’s next rated artiste, the Kenkele singer has responded, warning that he will not be rushed to make the wrong moves in the name of appearing relevant.
In a Saturday tweet, he stated that his timing is different and that he does not feel the need to be under pressure, adding that what will be will be. Buju went on to say that he would be the greatest singer of his generation.
“My timing is unique. There is no rush or pressure; what will be will be. I will be the greatest of my generation. I will succeed in all of my endeavors. “There’s no pressure,” he said.
