IMPEACHMENT THREAT: RIVERS GOVERNOR “SACKS” SECURITY AIDS AND CHIEF OF STAFF

According to reports, Chief Security Officer (CSO) of Government House Promise Wosu and Chief of Staff Chidi Amadi have been fired by Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Amadi led the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state’s Obio Akpor Local Government Area prior to his appointment.

Vanguard claimed that the camp commander of Rivers Government House has also reportedly been sacked.

The reason for the termination has not yet been determined as of the time this report was filed.

The decision to impeach the state governor and House Leader, Hon. Edison Ehie, by certain members of the Rivers State House of Assembly, may not have anything to do with the resignation, though.
