Hushpuppi, a reputed Internet scammer, had a verified Instagram account that has since been deleted by the platform’s parent company Meta.

In June 2020, Hushpuppi and 12 other people were detained in Dubai by Dubai Police and US Federal Bureau of Investigations agents on suspicion of hacking, impersonation, sc@mming, financial fraud, and identity theft. Hushpuppi was then extradited to the US for trial.

Hushpuppi flaunted his flashy lifestyle on his Facebook before being arrested. The handle has been deactivated, according to a short search, as it was absent from the outcomes.

It should be remembered that in July 2020, FBI Special Agent Andrew Innocenti connected Hushpuppi’s Instagram and Snapchat accounts to FBI case files in an affidavit in order to build a case against him. He pointed out that Hushpuppi has over 2 million followers on Instagram.
