In Anambra, a woman was apprehended after she killed her maid and dumped her body in a bush.

A woman who has not yet been recognized has been detained by the Anambra State Command of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) in connection with the gruesome killing of her maid.

According to reports, the suspect was apprehended this week after killing her maid and dumping the body in a nearby thicket.

The incident’s specifics are still hazy, but a video posted online depicts the moment the suspect led NAPTIP agents to the thicket where the already-rotting body was found.

“After beating her, she began to scream, so I took her to Kings” (hospital). After arriving, she passed away, so I threw her body here, she claimed.
