In Warri, Delta state, two suspected cultists were killed in a rival cult clash.
One was killed on Thursday in the Egbokodo community, and the other was killed early Friday in neighboring Ubeji.

DSP Bright Edafe, Delta Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), confirmed the two killings.
Dr. Michael Tidi, Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, expressed his outrage over the killings of two youths in the oil city in a statement.

He directed the police and other relevant security agencies to find the perpetrators of the heinous crime.

He also advised community leaders in the areas where the bloodshed occurred to provide the necessary intelligence to security agencies so that the threat could be contained as soon as possible.

Tidi has warned that his administration will not tolerate any form of violence or bloodletting that jeopardizes efforts to reposition Warri South LGA for faster socioeconomic growth.
