On Tuesday, the Police Command in Ogun announced the capture of three infamous suspected cultists associated with the “Eiye Confraternity” in the Joju neighborhood of Sango-Ota.
In a statement given to newsmen in Sango-Ota, Ogun, the police spokesperson for the state, SP Omolola Odutola, made this information public.
He claimed that the police command’s ability to capture the suspects was made possible by the reliable information provided by an unnamed civilian.
Odutola claimed that the alleged cultists were apprehended when the anti-robbery team was escorted to School 3 in Joju, Sango, by Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Sango Ota, CSP Saleh Dahiru.
She said, “The suspects, Michael Jackson, Joel Obieva, and Oluwaseun Bamideke, were caught planning their illegal activities at this location.”
According to Odutola, “over the course of the inquiry, the suspects admitted that they were a part of a larger gang called the “Eiye confraternity,” which consisted of five members and whose boss is still at large.
“They planned to gather at the school before carrying out their prearranged scheme.
But because of the quick response of the Sango Division police, they were caught before they could carry out their evil schemes.
