Mudashiru Baraka, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State, was assassinated.
On Wednesday morning in Oyo town, he was believed to have been slain by rival political thugs.
Baraka, a PDP grassroots mobilizer in the community, was macheted to death at his father’s house in the morning by his assailants.
Attempts to obtain police responses through the state Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, were futile because his mobile number was unavailable.
