The central government says it is attempting to end the country’s security challenges by December.
Rauf Aregbesola, clergyman of inside, expressed this on Monday at a joint security question and answer session in Abuja.
The pastor said security offices are attempting to “dispose of” those causing brutal assaults in the country with December as the cutoff time.
“Nigerians have the affirmation of us all that their security is ensured. In this way, we’re here to guarantee you that you’re protected; to that end we’re here on the guidelines of the president that you’re protected and that every day going to December, our wellbeing and security will be better,” he said.
“What we face generally now are conflicts of fainthearted assaults from those that have been steered in one territory or the other moving to send a mixed signal that they’re as serious areas of strength for yet.
“Our definitive objective is to dispense with them out and out and reestablish absolute harmony in every last trace of the Nigerian soil; that we will do by God’s elegance, by December of this current year.
“It is sounding tall, however bring it back, not entirely set in stone to guarantee that every last trace of the Nigerian soil is protected. The assurance is there and the request has been given.”
Aregbesola added that the national government “won’t rest” till harmony is reestablished to all pieces of the country.
“However, we will keep on safeguarding the lives and property of Nigerians and outsiders in our middle. We will keep on working for the tranquility of the country and stop components that comprise dangers to individuals,” he said.
“We will bear the full powers of the public authority to get every last bit of our property. We will not rest until harmony is completely reestablished in Nigeria.”
