The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu are anticipated to attend the 2023 International Youth Day.
Governor Yahaya Bello, Governor Fubara, and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, among others, are also anticipated at the event. Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq also serves as Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF).
The African Youth Resource Center’s Executive Director, Mr. Ben Duntoye, announced in a statement that the annual event, whose theme for 2023 is “Green Skills for Youth, towards a sustainable world,” will take place at the Executive Hall of the International Conference Center in Abuja on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 1 p.m.
He said that the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Nigerian Youth Parliament (NYP), and Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC) are among the major youth and student organizations working together to organize the ceremony.

Youth Rising: Harnessing the Potentials and Aspirations of Nigerian Youth Toward a Greater Nation will be publicly presented as part of IYD this year.
The book was written by Mr. Duntoye, a former president of the Pan African Youth Union (PAYU), and he said it was the result of his years of experience working in you guy development.
The book will serve as a reference for youth administrators, he said, and it will also motivate young people.
Top luminaries from the public and corporate sectors will honor IYD this year.
