FIFA said on Monday that four games involving the men’s and women’s national teams of Israel have been moved to November.

Due to the Israel-Hamas conflict, UEFA canceled every match that was slated to take place in the nation earlier this month.

According to FIFA, the rescheduled games will take place as close to the current November international windows as practicable.

Now set on November 12 and November 15, respectively, are the Group I qualifiers between Israel and Switzerland and Kosovo.

The Women’s Nations League away match between Israel and Kazakhstan has been moved to November 23; the rematch will take place on November 26.

According to the statement, FIFA also granted UEFA’s request for an exemption from the rule requiring players to be released in advance of the rescheduled games.

“Mandatory release would apply for a maximum of one player per any club not affiliated to either of the participating member associations of a given match,” the statement stated.

FIFA added that the release period would start two days prior to the relevant match.
