International player for Czech Republic Jakub Jankto revealed on Monday that he is gay and that he want to live his life “in freedom.”

Jankto made his debut for his country in 2017. He is now on loan from LaLiga team Getafe and plays for Sparta Prague.

The 27-year-old has four goals and 45 caps for the Czech Republic.

“I have my weaknesses, just like everyone else. I am not perfect. I am a family man. In a video he uploaded to his Instagram account, Jankto added, “I have my buddies.

“I have a job, and for years, I’ve been doing it with seriousness, professionalism, and enthusiasm.

“Like everyone else, I desire to lead a free life. without phobias. without distinction. with no use of force. BUT lovingly. I no longer want to disguise the fact that I am gay.

Blackpool forward Jake Daniels said he is gay in May of last year, while Josh Cavallo, an Australian, came out in 2021.
