Popular Nigerian TikTok star, Jarvis, has ignited debate on social media after declaring that women find it easier to move on after a breakup than men.
Jarvis made the assertion following her highly publicised and turbulent split from fellow content creator, Peller. Speaking in a video broadcast that has since gained traction online, the influencer attributed her quick recovery to self-confidence and personal poise.
According to her, embracing confidence and self-worth makes emotional detachment easier after a relationship ends. She insisted that women do not linger on heartbreak when they are secure in themselves. “It is easy for girls to move on fast after a breakup. No time. I am classy, I am everything I want to be. So, it is not hard for us to move on,” she said.
Her comments contrast sharply with Peller’s recent public stance. The content creator appears to still be grappling with the breakup, having openly vowed never to give love another chance. He also declared that he would not marry a Nigerian woman, remarks that have drawn mixed reactions online.
The breakup had earlier drawn national attention in December last year when Peller was involved in a deliberate car crash following threats linked to the relationship. He later confirmed that he and Jarvis had gone their separate ways weeks after the incident.
As both creators continue to air their post-breakup emotions publicly, the episode has fuelled wider conversations about gender, emotional resilience, and how public figures navigate heartbreak in the digital age.
