Jigawa State Government has commenced payment of the 30,000 new national minimum wage for the month of December to its workers.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Jigawa State Head of the Civil Service, Hussaini Ali Kila, and made available to newsmen by the Public Relations Officer Office of the Head of the Civil Service.
Kila said, already, some workers had received bank alerts of their December salary.
He called on workers in the state to reciprocate the gesture by dedicating themselves to duty.
