Jimmy Carter, the longest-living former U.S. president, has been hospitalized with a pelvic fracture after falling on Monday evening at his Georgia home.  It has been rushed to the hospital after reportedly falling in his home. This is about the second time this month he has fallen.

According to report, the 95-year-old has been admitted to Phoebe Sumter Medical Center, for medical observation and treatment of a minor pelvic fracture. According to statement from his foundation, it is said that, “He is in good spirits and is looking forward to recovering at home.” It’s the second time this month  and third this year that the former president Carter has been hurt in an accident.

The 39th former U.S president fell first this month at home on the 6th of October, 2019, just a few days after his birthday, and required stitches above his left brow. The facial injury didn’t stop Carter from showing up at Habitat for Humanity’s Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project in Nashville that same week. He arrived at the project site with a bandaged face and a black eye.
