At a Los Angeles event on Sunday, actors Jonathan Majors, 35, and Meagan Good, 43, publicly announced their engagement. Good proudly displayed her engagement ring in a photograph shared with The Associated Press.

The couple first met in 2022 and began dating in 2023. Throughout Majors’ legal troubles, Good remained a steadfast supporter. She was frequently seen attending the New York trial where Majors was convicted in December of misdemeanor assault against his ex-girlfriend. Despite the conviction, Majors avoided jail time due to his lack of a prior criminal record, though he was sentenced to a one-year counseling program. Majors and his legal team have consistently maintained his innocence.

In the wake of the trial, Majors faced professional setbacks, including being dropped from major upcoming projects with Marvel, where he was set to portray the villain Kang the Conqueror in its next phase of films.

Despite these challenges, the couple appears happy and united. When asked about their relationship, Good shared, “We’re feeling great,” while Majors added, “It’s a season of joy.” Good further reflected, “It’s a season of all the good things.”
