Jordan Wike has denied involvement in an alleged $2.1m Abuja land deal, telling an FCT High Court that his signature on a document presented in the case was forged.
Jordan Ezenwo Nyesom-Wike, son of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, gave evidence during the continuation of proceedings before Justice Silvanus Oriji.
He said he had no relationship with the claimants and did not receive money for any land transaction.
Under cross-examination by counsel to the claimants, Hamza Dantani, Jordan said he was outside Nigeria on 26 September 2025, when the claimants alleged that money was handed over to him.
“I did not receive any money from anybody. I did not sign any document for land deal,” he told the court.
Jordan also denied knowing a person named Onor Sandy, whom the claimants identified as someone who accompanied him during the alleged transaction.
The court had earlier ordered Jordan to produce his passport after the claimants asked for evidence of his whereabouts on the date of the alleged payment.
At Wednesday’s hearing, he produced a photocopy of his passport and undertook to present the original if the court requires it.
The case, marked CV/008/2026, was filed by Safwan Garba GY and GY Global Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited.
The claimants allege that they met Jordan in London and later approached him in Abuja to help facilitate the acquisition of land in the Federal Capital Territory.
They said he agreed to facilitate the acquisition of 30 hectares in Katampe and another 30 hectares in Guzape.
According to their claim, Jordan requested a $2.1m facilitation fee. They alleged that $2m was intended for his father, while $100,000 was for Jordan.
They further alleged that the money was delivered on 26 September 2025 in the presence of Adamu Sani, Aliyu Sarki and Sai Wani.
Jordan has denied the allegations and disputed the documents presented against him.
The court adjourned the case until 1 December 2026 for continuation of trial.
