This was said by the President during his presentation of the N27.5 trillion 2024 budget proposal to the 10th National Assembly’s joint session in Abuja.
This is the first budget presentation for 2024 since taking office, precisely six months ago.
“Our goal is to ensure that the Approvation Act comes into effect on January 1, 2024,” he stated during his speech to the national assembly.
As the administration aims for a 3.76 percent economic growth in the upcoming fiscal year, Tinubu highlighted national security, local job creation, and poverty reduction as the key priorities of the 2024 Appropriations Bill, which he named the “Budget of Renewed Hope.”
