Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, has arrived in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.
The PDP candidate is scheduled to meet with stakeholders from various walks of life in Abeokuta.
He arrived in Abeokuta in a helicopter at 1:57 p.m.
Before his arrival, the governorship candidate of the party in the state, Ladi Adebutu, and his deputy, Adekunle Akinlade, were already seated in the hall. Aminu Tambuwal, the governor of Sokoto State, and Abdul-Azeez Adediran, the governorship candidate of Lagos State, were also present.
The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Emmanuel Udom, and the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, were also present.
The National Chairman of the party, Iyorcha Ayu, accompanied Atiku, as did former Senate President Bukola Saraki, former Vice President Namadi Sambo, ex-Osun Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and former Cross River State Governor Liyel Imoke.
