JUST IN: MC OLUOMO CANNOT BE USED BY INEC TO DISTRIBUTE ELECTORAL MATERIALS, ACCORDING TO A COURT ORDER.

Recently, Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke of the Federal High Court in Lagos granted the Labour Party’s (LP) request to block the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from using Musliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, the Chairman of the Lagos Parks and Garages, to distribute election materials in Lagos.

The LP had asked a judge to impose a ban on MC Oluomo, a prominent member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), from taking part in the distribution of election materials, citing suspicions about his alleged involvement in political violence and thuggery.
