Tobi Amusan of Nigeria took home the Diamond League championship for an incredible third time in a row.

After a lackluster performance in Budapest, Amusan silenced her detractors on Sunday night in Oregon by winning the closely contested 100-meter hurdles race in a time of 12.33 seconds.

Amusan became the second woman in Diamond League history, after Dawn Nelson-Harper, to win a hat-trick of 100-meter hurdles championships thanks to her incredible effort on Sunday.

It’s interesting to note that Amusan won the global championship last year and set a world record while doing so in Oregon.
