Two members of the governor’s cabinet in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, have had their portfolios changed.

Dr. Oreoluwa Finnih, formerly the Special Adviser for the Ministry of Health, has been reallocated to the position of Special Adviser to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs).
Abiola Olowu, formerly Special Adviser to the Ministry of Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade, and Investment, has been reallocated to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (Office of Mineral Resources).
On Wednesday, Sanwo-Olu swore in 37 commissioners and special advisers.
The swearing-in event, conducted at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium in Alausa, Ikeja, marked the beginning of the governor’s second term in office.
After two screenings in which several nominees were rejected, the Lagos State House of Assembly confirmed 38 nominees for the governor’s cabinet, with the last one, Tolani Akibu, being confirmed less than 24 hours before the swearing-in event.
