Bauchi State House of Assembly Speaker Abubakar Suleiman has been re-elected.
On Tuesday, he was re-elected unchallenged.
Suleiman represents the Ningi Central Constituency and is the immediate past Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria.
Jamilu Barade, a Bauchi metropolis member, was also chosen deputy Speaker of the House.
They were both elected during the inauguration of the 10th Assembly of the House, which is now taking place at the Bauchi Assembly Complex.
