Babatunji Wusu –
Security personnel nabbed an unnamed man for holding a bomb at a bank in Dadin Kowa town, Jos South, Plateau State.
As soon as the bomb was located, an alert was triggered, and the man was quickly restrained to avoid a disaster.
According to security analyst Zagazola Makama’s article on X, attentive bank security helped avert the attack by identifying the culprit.
Following the incident, an irate throng gathered and demanded the suspect’s execution.
Eventually, the suspect was turned over to the police for further investigation.
A photo accompanying Makama’s tweet showed the explosives strapped around the suspect’s torso.
However, it is unclear whether the suspect is affiliated with any terrorist organization in the country.
