JUST IN: THE INSPECTOR GENERAL MEETS WITH POLICE FORCE COMMANDERS.

Olukayode Egbetokun, the acting Inspector-General of Police, is now meeting with commanders of the 79 Police Mobile Force squadrons at the Force Headquarters, Louis Edet House, Abuja.

The Police Management Team includes all six Deputy Inspectors-General of Police representing the country’s six geopolitical zones, as well as several Assistant Inspectors-General of Police.

The IG arrived to the meeting at exactly 03:10 pm, two hours late because the meeting was originally scheduled for 01:00 pm.

The meeting’s details are unknown, but in a statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer on Sunday, Egbetokun stated that the meeting was in furtherance of his vision and drive to achieve his goal of securing the country, and reassured Nigerians of the Nigeria Police Force’s determination to secure lives and properties.
