According to the military high command, three commanders and 22 soldiers were killed during an attack on forces in Niger state.
Maj. Gen. Edward Buba, Director of Media Operations, told journalists in Abuja on Thursday that seven soldiers were injured during the attack.
He further stated that 14 previously slain soldiers, seven wounded soldiers, two pilots, and two crew members were on the wrecked Air Force aircraft while on an evacuation mission.
